Is there a movie based on the book When I was Puerto Rican by Esmeralda Santiago?

So when i was younger i saw this documentary type movie but did not
know what it was called, then when i turned like 10 I read the book, i
started to remember certain things from the book that i have seen in
this movie that i have watched
